Arigato for Kikaida's 30th Anniversary in Hawaii
Kikaida's 30th Anniversary celebration in Hawaii, which was held in late October was a huge success. Congratulatory messages were received from Honolulu Mayor Jeremy Harris and State Governor Linda Lingle.
The live-action Kikaida series of the 70's is truly a masterpiece. It is not merely a tokusatsu hero series, but a drama about the love of mankind. I am so happy that the people of Hawaii have embraced the meaning of the series and the message portrayed by Kikaida. I hope that the Hawaii fans will hold Kikaida dear to their hearts for a long time.
I thank Joanne Ninomiya of JN Productions for bringing Kikaida back to Hawaii, and her staff for taking such good care of the character. Kikaida and Jiro will remain with you forever.
